Student Life Events Center

Welcome to the SF State's Student Life Events Center at Annex 1

The Student Life Event Center (SLEC) is large scale event venue on the San Francisco State University Campus. With a footprint close to 25,000 sqft, this former Library Annex I space has been designated for student-focused events and activities, and was completed in the Spring of 2014. The building houses a stage and assembly area, greenrooms, storage, restrooms, ticketing area, and administrative areas for building and event staff.

The project had been under development since spring 2012, with input from vital campus departments and partners. The venue can support technical services, limited catering, and other basic amenities.

Why an events venue?

The changing demographics and increased residential community at SF State have brought forth a need for stronger student life programming and activities. These services will promote a more close-knit community, and provide exciting new outlets for student social, educational and professional development.
